We have worked with many different architects practices providing both design and consultation services for homes that require our valued input from initial inception to final client handover.
If your project requires any element of the following, we are able to offer a free design service to add the necessary infrastructure and technical know-how for you to provide a future-proofed home for your client.
AUTOCAD DESIGN AND DETAIL
Our design team are all proficient in AutoCAD and 3D rendering software to provide you with accurate and detailed drawings integrated into your original DWG files ready for both cost tendering and final onsite construction.
EQUIPMENT LOCATION PLANS
Each and every item of our equipment is given an icon or block and shown in full colour and in the prime location on your drawings. This gives you the chance to show your client options for room layouts with any audio-visual or control equipment situated in a scaled environment.
An agreed system needs to be cabled correctly and if we are working with 3rd party electrical installers or subcontractors, we need to get the cabling right from the outset. Each home requires a detailed set of schematics showing not only the equipment and location, but the exact cable type matched to the cable colour delivered to site. Through experience we know this is invaluable to an electrician or installer onsite as the cable type is easily identifiable and the route mapped out considering obstacles and other services. We provide electrical requirements for both audio visual and lighting control systems to make sure the electrical contractor knows exactly what to provide for us based on a detailed specification.
TV locations, control panels and speakers are just a few examples of the equipment that we always subtly integrate to disappear in your clients home. We do not like to see cables and clutter! We spend a great deal of time mapping out the room locations as well as the relevant heights from finished floor level right through to the speaker sizes, diameters and recess requirements.
